I can’t believe it Year 1! We have had a week of 100% attendance, everybody here everyday. That’s amazing and of course a big thank you to all the grown ups for getting all the children to school. Only 4 more popcorn pieces till we can have a popcorn party! Let’s do this together 🍿🎉🥳⭐️
In Year 1 we have been learning about Andy Goldsworthy and his art work. He creates artwork using natural materials, so off we went outside to create some art work inspired by him.
Last weeks well done winner has made amazing progress with his writing. He has started to write independently and at a quicker pace. He is very imaginative and now uses his ideas in his work. Keep up the fantastic work! 🥳🎉⭐️
I am so proud of all the children in Year 1 this week for their independent writing. We have described the tiger, wrote a letter to the tiger, re-enacted the story and finally sequenced the story. Keep it up Year 1 we are so proud of you! 🐯⭐️🎉🥳

In maths this week we have been learning about Capacity. We needed to find out how many cups of water it took to fill the jug. Once we had done that we had to work out how many cups it took to fill two jugs. The children enjoyed taking their learning outside. ☀️
